When completing Strikes and Raids with your Fireteam, communication will become paramount to your success. Also, with the possibility of proximity chat (I don't think that has been disconfirmed yet) while in the tower and exploring the world, and no splitscreen or multiplayer on a single device, a headset will become an integral part of the 'Destiny Experience'.
With that being said, I ask you all a question: What headset will you use to communicate with your fellow Guardians?
I have a PS4 and have been looking into the Playstation Gold Wireless Headset, but haven't made a final decision yet. What have other people already been using or plan on purchasing?

Astro A30 wireless. LOVE EM! Although it "pops" and goes in and out when extreme bass comes in for some reason. :( I can't figure out how to fix it. :(

Half my clan uses the gold headset and they have no issues. My issue with it is that on the receiving end the mic is too sensitive and will pick up their button presses and analog sticks. I use turtle beach's PX5 and it's great for me. Bluetooth enabled so I can use it with the PS4 and my phone at the same time. The only Problem is you have to buy an adaptor.

Edited by PraySayPlay: 8/30/2014 4:15:27 PMSome nIce headsets listed. I'm happy with the AfterGlow Prismatic. Great reviews. Purchased after research, Rechargeable, and even with the lights on, 10 hours of play time easy. They're Wireless, have several audio profiles, easy controls and a built-in mic. They are a really-good value at approx. $100.

Just a Tritton blabla wired I don't care 50 Euros headset... Sound is important for feedback, nothing more IMO

I would highly recommend PX12's after having the top of the line astro a40s and selling them in college thinking I quit gaming for good. They are reliable, affordable, and sound great with only one cable running to my ps4

Big fan of gold headset. I have previously owned turtle beaches and more recently the pulse elites. I prefer the golds over either one of those. Feels light on your head, comfortable over the ears, and the sound comes through really well.

Playstation Gold Wireless is wonderful. Good battery life, awesome sound. Always play BF4 with them and explosions sounds big and loud! :)

I have the Playstation Pulse Elite headset. It works beautifully. I haven't looked into it, but I imagine the innards of the PS gold headset are the same thing. You can upload 6 different sound modes and there are several custom modes designed for specific games. I think the golds are on sale for $80 now too. If I didn't already have a headeset I would jump all over that deal.

Astro a50. Just gotta get a headset adapter for xbone!

none, 7.1 surround blasting my roof off the entire time..

What's a good, cheap, NOT wireless headset? I only have the one that comes with the PS4 and it is awful
-
good old Tritton AX 720 5.1, unlike the Turtle Beach Headsets my brother have had it doesn't brake every 6 months. I'm using it for 4 years now and counting.

15 dollar one because I don't see why a person needs to spend 150 bucks just to hear kids scream

Astro A40's.

I've bought the Tritton Warhead set for the XBox 360. They arrived today, I'll try them tonight. I also have the Afterglow Prismatic set for my other 360. Useful if I can get my wife more interested.
