Why does everyone want 1080p so much
Why is it that everyone feels like all games should be native 1080 and anything else is a sham? It's not some god pixel count is it?
Honestly I would prefer 720 upscaled and 60 fps.

Because people only care about graphics these days. Games are old news, it's all about graphics and how 'cinematic' your game can be. This is why the gaming industry is going in the shitter.
