They need to keep it like that too. Have multiple pieces of exotic armor on would make you near invincible. You would have enough light to be like level 45-50,.
So raising the exotic armor/weapons limit is a bad idea

The point you make is inaccurate. Even with 4 pieces of exotic armor at the current specifications available you could only possibly have a maximum of 120 light which is enough to make you level 30. When the DLC 1 gets released they are raising the cap to level 32 to so one could assume that to be level 31 you would need 131 light and to be level 32 you would need 142 light. Its safe to also assume that there will be armor available which will have a max light of 36 per piece giving you 144 light Or there could be new material released that could upgrade current specific legendary or exotic armor pieces whose max light are at 30 light. I do agree with your statement partially and CEA's post, where someone wearing 4 exotic armor pieces would greatly benefit from the 4 special bonuses , and the best way to balance those bonuses would be to tier them based on the number of exotic armor pieces of that set you are wearing. Im sure that given the fact that the level cap is now raised to level 32 and that bungie has most likely observed how a level 28 goes through the VoG Raid versus how a level 30 goes through the VoG raid so that they can gauge how difficult they should make the next DLC Raid. I would hope that the next Raid will challenge even level 32 characters so that people don't get bored with the game after they have reached that level cap.

exotics only add 30 light max, just like raid gear, can't get past 30 lol
