People are literally pissed because it looks and sounds like Halo 4...why that's a problem I don't know. Visually, Halo 4 was beautiful (art direction is debatable). The audio was almost as good, except for a few bad weapon sounds.
My only complaints with the Anniversary multiplayer are the grenade indicator and hit markers. I didn't like the weapon set option either, but I think Frankie confirmed those were only placeholder and would not be in the final game.

I don't get the issue people have with hitmarkers
-
It's not really necessary but one reason is promotes grenade spam. >throws grenade around corner >gets hit marker >throws entire arsenal >profit
-
Weren't the shields flickering technically hitmarkers?

Doesn't matter, it still plays like halo, you don't like thoes things because you want a halo 3.5, no please, halo needs to change or it will end up like COD.

Edited by Fallen Hero: 8/17/2014 7:20:53 PMPeople hate COD because it's a game a year for $60 and a bunch of DLC every year. If only 1 FPS COD came out every 3-4 years no one would care. It's because it's over saturated. They can always improve things like improving campaign, adding vehicles, improving forge, theatre, custom games, ect without adding stupid gameplay mechanics from every mainstream game on the market.

Yeaaaa i would wait for advance warfare to see if sledgehammer is good enough to make a cod game instead of the same shit we get every year.
halo needs to change or it will end up like COD.
Yes because we all know that the reason CoD died is because it didnt change

Edited by Jotaro Kujo PhD: 8/17/2014 4:54:12 AM
you don't like thoes things because you want a halo 3.5
Tell me where I said I want a Halo 3.5 or quit implying things. No I don't want hit markers and GI's. But it's not as if they dramatically change the gameplay; I find that they clutter the HUD more than anything. Just because I don't like something new does not mean I want a clone of Halo 3. That doesn't mean I agree with change for the sake of change (no one in the right mind would).

You do have a point, sorry about that, a lot of cringe with the so called halo fans
