Well lets give our master dreg a backstory then. He is supposed to replace Gimli the Dwarf from lord of the rings. Let's say master dreg was shunned and had two arms cut off but has redeemed himself by surviving many battles and he is now one of the greatest Fallen Scouts. He can never regain his lost limbs so he can never be a Vandal again but thanks to his experience, skill, knowledge and cunning; he has been elevated to lead less talented dregs and given the title of Master as well as lands of his own and a castle ;)
