Do you really want to work at Bungie?

I hear it on the forums somewhat frequently, the notion of how amazing it would be to work at Bungie. How many people really want that though? For video games, I would rather play the finished product with all of its magic, rather than be in it from the start. Then again, my career is pretty far from the video game making world anyway, so making games is never a career I considered. Do you want to work at Bungie / in the gaming industry? I admit, if I did want to work in gaming, Bungie has an amazing work environment - a model that is healthy and successful for any organization. This forum was inspired by irishfreak's post of the polygon article (linked again here), and brought to you by the number 7.

  • From what I've picked up throughout the Internet, games developing is a lot like the movie industry. Companies come and go, jobs are fluid and depend on how good the finish product is. Very similar to the movie industries it seems.
