On what basis do you (OP) conclude that the Exo are physically superior? Machines can be made with various degrees of power. Even humans must train to develop muscle mass.
So are all Exo created equal? Or are there some with better components and parts? Can they upgrade themselves?
The world may never know...

Interesting idea. My conclusion is based in context on the assumption (or lack thereof) that potential parents of Exo's (if that were a thing, which discussion has since shown is not the case btw) wouldn't necessarily be warriors or any necessarily strong folk. I do assume that any being built for war out of steel (or some other tough metal) is going to have some requisite physical resilience, which even if not accompanied by a matching strength still provides a massive edge in contests with organic beings (ever punch anything made of steel? It hurts you more than it hurts it, you can probably trust me on that). Mostly though my basis for assuming physical superiority is that EVERY Exo was designed with combat in mind (though what combat is a big secret), while the "owners" of these Exo could have any range of physical capability. If you look at that idea, then average it, it can be said that in general the Exo would be physically superior to their organic familial counterparts. Next to organic soldiers? That is indeed a different story, one I would not rush a conclusion on. So those are the reasons I had at the time. All Exo may not be created equal, but they were all created to fight, and that gives them a baseline effectiveness physically that should be higher than that of humans. (The physical attributes of Awoken are alien and as yet unknown, so no comparison should be made here). Thanks for your question, I appreciated having the opportunity to better explain the reasoning.

No thank you. The Exo are truly interesting. I like exploring the ideas, and possibilities they uniquely create.
