I've spent a lot of time thinking about a lot of this. I started writing a fanfic of my hunter exo and found myself contemplating some of these issues. My exo will question the struggle of humanity while out on patrol only to come up short for reason. He'll continue to fight for us (humans) because without us he wouldn't exist, but he's torn. His experiences come without any personal gain. He fights to protect those that gave him life if only to find out why he lives. My writings become difficult because I find my exo wants something more than existing without understanding his existance. Thanks for this bit of personal insight! I would ask what your view is of Exos like Lakshmi? She seems dogmatic, something must be driving her beliefs.
