All DLC discussion (includes PSN exclusives)

First of all, this is a discussion regarding opinions on the topic of DLC, not a flame board. Discussions may include, but not limited to: PS v Xbox v PC exclusives, news on any and all DLC dates/times, release schedule, etc. As for my say on the matter of exclusives: I know the exclusive contend is all about the money, thus I really don't mind the exclusives, but I hope the delay is not as insane as I am hearing. *Edited 8/9/2014* The Exclusive DLC for PSN (PS3/4) will be (as reported by strayhippo's link:http://www.gamespot.com/articles/destiny-s-playstation-exclusive-content-includes-maps-and-ships/1100-6420514/) the following: -The mid-sized multiplayer map is called "Exodus Blue" and is built for Control, Destiny's version of Domination. -PlayStation owners will also be able to play through a three-player co-op mission on Mars called "The Dust Palace Strike." -Three sets of armor and two weapons will be exclusive, as well. In addition to the Monte Carlo assault rifle and Hawkmoon handcannon, Manifold Seeker armor for Warlocks, Vanir armor for Titans, and Argus armor for Hunters will be available. -Finally, PlayStation owners will have exclusive access to three spacecraft: the Aurora Wake, the Crypt Hammer, and the Outrageous Fortune. Normal DLC on all platforms is as it currently stands will be released sometime Fall 2015. The season pass, according to Bungie.net's page (for digital version, unconfirmed as exclusive), will include the following: -“The Dark Below” -"House of Wolves” Again, this is completely opinion based on what I have been hearing. None of this has been 100% confirmed. Hence the purpose of this thread. Thanks for the input, and please keep correcting me where needed regarding the info!

 • In contracting saying a company has exclusive rights for a year doesn't always mean, in this case of PS v XB, that one side gets everything (DLC) for a year while the other system gets nothing. Not a strong financial move, like releasing a game only on one system. The term exclusive has been used by XB with the COD series for a long time, which meant the XB system received the DLC 30-60 days earlier than the PS system. This would make more sence in establishing a franchise game like Destiny. Until Activision and Bungie clarify the meaning of exclusive to their contract with Sony. If they say PS gets it all until Sept 20115, then PS'ers can laugh and XB'ers can cry. Most likely, PS'ers are getting some extra cool gear on day one, and will end up playing the DLC a month or two ahead of XB'ers. This is what XB has had over PS for COD for years, now the shoe is on the other foot. Personal note: as an XB player I would happily give up COD exclusive for Destiny.
