I found what I called a 'glitch' at getting glimmer. I was getting about 15,000 every 30-45 minutes of game play after I discovered it. Didn't play any Crucible after that. Just spent it all at the Cryptarch.

What "glitch" is this? Only way to get mass glitter is loot chest farm.

Found a chest in a cave that was 10 feet from a group of 4 Fallen. Shoot the 4 fallen then go into cave and get 135-160 glimmer plus an additional weapon or armor every other time. Come out of cave and the 4 Fallen are back. Also every fifth time or so one of the fallen would drop an Engram. Kill them then go back into cave and chest is there again and gives same payout. Killing the 4 fallen and running back into to the cave took about 20-30 seconds total. The chest would only be there once the 4 were killed and you came back into the cave. get 15k in glimmer then take a break and hit up the Cryptarch. Did this for 2 days straight.

Did the chest spawn every single time? If so that's crazy.

Yes. After I killed the 4 Fallen and went back into the cave the chest was there with glimmer each time and a rifle or armor every other time. Took 20-30 seconds to do the task each time.
