How did you get your call sign/ name?
When you ask some one how they got there name there generally is a story behind it. Why not tell us how you got or picked you name.
And I want to say thank you to everyone who's shared there story. It really is interesting to see how everyone got there moniker or call sign.
Btw you guys are like posting once every minute or two.

When I was younger I would stay up late until the point of almost passing out watching videos on the PC or playing games and sometimes I would get hallucinations from being tired (only like 2-3 times). Well this particular night i was just watching videos on the PC downstairs in my parent's home when I turned to my right and saw a large blue essence that appeared to be a Fox's soul or spirit. Ever since that night I began liking foxes more and more. Thus the name FoxSoul and subsequently every other Fox related username I have. May sound nuts, but I think it would be more nuts if I developed a fear of foxes from that experience lol.

Back when I bought the first Diablo, I had just finished a marathon of JRR Tolkien, including the Silmarillion. The goddess of the sun was named Arien and I liked the name so much I promptly added a prosthetic h, gave the name to my rogue and it has been my tag ever since. The 23 was added later when someone else had used Arhien on an account somewhere, since that is the day my birthday is.

I was a bit of a punk kid back then so DarkTyrant was my handle and iB was for a Halo:CE online group I was in called iBonk. A few years pasted and I drifted away from my iBonk friends, college started, so I decided to change again. To Tastey Cake, not after the food, but after a scene from Family Guy where Mort describes his childhood. Some time later I changed again to Hot Juicy Pie... I stuck with the pastry theme because it felt like my new niche, but I'm a grown man now and I wanted something that reflected my darker humor. I spent hours throwing word combinations into the field because nothing bothers me more than throwing x's and numbers in to get the name I want. I wanted to be an original, so that when I come across xXxHotxJuicyxPie420x I can call them a cheap knock off of my greatness.

Recently I thought about making the name more proper and at least spelled correctly.

I used to have friends over for LAN parties all the time, and before I had multiple TVs, we had to split screen it. One of my friends was SUPER good and my other friend kept yelling at him, accusing him of looking at the other half of the screen as a way to cheat. He named himself with the GT: ImAScreenLooker haha.

My original GT was TheBASTARDzero. after playing titles on Xbox, the 360, and making a really good friends list, there was a problem with a payment for Gold.. way back in the day. The gamertag and account were "Unrecoverable" according to M$oft so I had to start a new account. I was really mad at losing my account over a stupid error that wasn't even my fault, so I wanted to have a name that expressed rage and no mercy haha. I picked OLDBOY vicious because I was in a vicious mood, and vicious is the bad guy in Cowboy Bebop, one of my favorite animes. Oldboy is one of my favorite movies (NOT the Spike Lee remake which is total crap!). It is really brutal and a lot of characters i it are super tough bad-asses. So Oldboy is like a descriptor. OLDBOY vicious is like saying "As vicious as Oldboy" It also has another meaning that is kind of a joke with my friends, sometimes we call each other "Old boy" in an English accent, like "Ah, good show old boy!" "Why thank you old chap!" "Indeed!" "Yes, quite!" so I guess it has a lot of meanings haha.

Mine is a tale whose boringness is only matched by its brevity. I was small as a child and Keyop was a character from Battle of the Planets (Gatchaman). I added the extra 'e' because on arcade high score tables 'KEE' looked better than 'KEY'

Mines just lame. I was little and I liked COD. Only played war games and was into military stuff. ... Thought it was clever but I've grown to like it and I've met so many friends never wanted to make a new account and add them all over again.

I was automatically assigned a username Rye78 by Westwood for playing Tiberian Sun back in the day, the name stuck everywhere until I started playing eve online and said -blam- to random numbers after a username and took up the name Kuromugi, which literally translates to Dark / Black Wheat (Rye). And I've used it in almost every resent game I've played. The irony is I was forced to add numbers to my PSN ID because apparently someone took my username... I used the last 3 of my service number. Hence, Kuromugi_972 was born.
