How did you get your call sign/ name?
When you ask some one how they got there name there generally is a story behind it. Why not tell us how you got or picked you name.
And I want to say thank you to everyone who's shared there story. It really is interesting to see how everyone got there moniker or call sign.
Btw you guys are like posting once every minute or two.

Honestly I made the name MegaDev2 when I was 8. Then when I started playing pc games I changed to Ultradev. So depending on my mood my name switches to one or the other. Simple as that

A project at uni on forgotten words, murklins means "in the dark". It used be be ijenocide, my last name being Jen and me being the "rush in head first, take as many out" player, had that name for at least 4 years until it was finally changed.

My first username was my own name. My second was JJackpot. 'twas my first initial of my real name with my nickname right after. My third was StarkillerXIII because of that godsawful Star Wars game fused with Organization XIII from Kingdom Hearts. Then I went through a phase of having a new one every week. I finally settled on i-Loot because I realized that I have a penchant for looting in games. If there's a chest right next to a bunch of enemies, I'll loot the chest first. Now everyone just calls me Loot. I'm not upset about that. It's a cool name in my opinion.

People in my clan had a hard time spelling my name and used to mispronounce it as 'Yiggdraezil ' and later resorted to just call me 'Drazil', so everyone calls me that now. Fun thing is that it says 'lizard' when spelt backward, and I used to love lizards a lot as a child, so it fits me even more.

Me and my friends used to play a trading card game called warlord. There are multiple races in the game plus some lore sub faction's. One character i used alot was called Kilis of flesh. I used that name later on in an mmo and ended up being called Kilis by my friends. Finally the cigarette packets had to have health warnings on them one said smoking kills. Change a letter and boom had that name ever since.

In 22 BBY, Deviss served in the first battle of the Clone Wars on the Outer Rim planet Geonosis. During the battle, Deviss risked his life to protect two injured soldiers from Confederate spider droids and received a medal after being rescued from behind enemy lines by Republic troops. He then went on to fight in the Battle of Altyr V, after which he was promoted to Commander.

I've played D&D for about 25 years and I love spellcasters, especially wizards....and Warlock is just another badass sounding word for wizard. Also, I like witches and a male witch is often referred to as a warlock. I needed something to go with it, since of course plain Warlock was already taken. I wanted something kinda dark/shadowy to go with it. I kinda stole Umbra from ES: Oblivion, but I love the meaning too... [spoiler]"The umbra (Latin for "shadow") is the innermost and darkest part of a shadow, where the light source is completely blocked by the occluding body."[/spoiler] So that's my story. :)

My first one was Acidic Wafflez because my nickname in highschool was Waffles. ( I actually ate waffles for breakfast alot and eventually the name stuck) I added in Acidic because I thought it sounded neat at the time. Eventually I changed it to Teh Moist Donutz, mostly due to it sounding funny yet really awesome. Then I decided to join my clan members in a name change and here I am with EDW xNIGHTMAREx. I wanted to go with Waffles again but there had been a guy in the clan with Waffles before and was removed from the clan for being a A-hole. I went with Nightmare cause it sounded cool and prefer to think people think of me as their Nightmare when facing off against me and my team during competitive multiplayer. quite boring for me really......my real name is Adrian but everyone calls me Ady for short....and my sirname is a bit like this word "random" and i do have a random taste is games, music and films.....so seemed fitting when i created this user name which is also my xbox name.

I'm a fan of Norse mythology hence the Ravens aspect of my name. As for nexus I played "Armored Core" competitively for a number of years and my favorite iteration of the game was "Armored Core: Nexus".
