you keep hearing that because the minority is usually the group that shouts longer and harder than the majority. It's like a Chihuahua compared to a great dane. the chihuahua barks constantly to establish it's presence but the great dane doesn't have to because it's size does the talking. In all reality the majority of the forums feel that the classes are balanced, the minority of sub-par players and immature children just won't shut up. Each class has it's strengths and weaknesses. Hunters are precision specialists, so if you suck at headshots, their abilities won't help you much. Warlocks are great at ranged aoe attacks and crowd control. Titans are great at blast aoe and are basically the perfect shock trooper to destabilize a group of enemies and swarms. so in short: Hunter Gunslinger for ranged preference Warlock Voidwalker for mid range combat Titan Striker for close range combat Small print: all statements above are based on the subclasses provided during the beta and will most likely be very different in the final game. Every subclass specializes in a particular aspect of playing and you most likely find these roles changing with each subclass's abilities
