Bungie, please either 1. allow a better way to recruit/communicate people within the game or 2. just open up raids to matchmaking and put a disclaimer up warning of the difficulty. I am definetly going to have a hard time getting 6 friends all on ps4 all on at same time ect. I am a 33 yr old dad with 3 kids and time is not on my side.

Try being 46 with two kids not yet in their teens. Pretty much the only time I have to game is after they go to bed, which means I'm either stuck staying up until the am and then getting up and going into the office for 7:00, or just playing Mario....

I'm in a similar boat. I'll probably not raid much but rather do nightfalls, strikes and daily missions.

I'm in the same boat, I'm 35. All my friends are roughly the same age, and have family and kids. Its already rare that more than 2 of use can play more than an hour together. I have plenty of time to play on my own schedule though. Not having matchmaking basically means this mode is not an option for me and my friends. I'd rather just have matchmaking as an option for people who want it. I'd rather not have to spend a bunch of extra time finding strangers online so we can pretend to be friends just to use this mode that they are hyping up to be a major component of the game.

joining groups/clans/communities would solve that, plus there should be plenty of means to hook up with randoms looking to run raids at specific times to cater to your needs. there should be plenty of 3rd party websites for grouping up with interested players for when you want to raid.

pretty much this, we are gonna need one or the other to make it more capable to get 6 people together for the raids not everyone has massive friendslist on their systems and i doubt even then everyone is gonna play the raids we need something, anything.
