Things that should not transfer: -Glimmer -Rare, legendary, and exotic items(even iron banner aesthetic items). -Grimoire score. -Stats -Character level Things that should transfer: -All common and uncommon weapons/armor in possession. *Reason against iron banner rewards from transferring: In the full game of Destiny, Iron Banner will not be offered as frequently as it was in the Beta. Thus, it will take quite some time to acquire the items. Because of this time requirement, it is unfair for non-beta players, even if the items are only aesthetic. These suggestions would in no way give a significant advantage over newcomers. For example, I could retain my Shingen-C, yet I would be on similar playing ground with the day one early access to the vanguard items. I did use the Vanguard Carte Blanche S.1 auto rifle in the alpha, and it could compete with all other autos(excluding the now Nerfed Galahad-C). In the beta, many players found weapons that fit their preference of play style. I am simply asking for the ability to retain these weapons/armor. This would not give a head start to beta players; however, it would provide familiarity and allow us to continue our adventure from where we left off in the beta. What are your thoughts and/or suggestions? I believe the player community and Bungie can find common ground in the topic discussed.
I think they should let us keep cosmetic items, like shaders or banners. We should be able to keep our characters but none of their experience or items. I hate to say it but everything else should go. It's just not fair to folks who didn't play the beta. Plus, levelling in the beta was rumoured to have been accelerated. Again, not fair if true.

 • I agree. I do not see the harm in retaining common and uncommon weapons. As I have mentioned in my original post, players who play on day 1 get access to vanguard equipment. Because of this, keeping the weapons(white and green tiers) from the beta pose no advantage over others. The weapons I acquired in the beta had really good perks that I capitalized on in the crucible.
