Anyone else vault their stuff "just in case"?
A myriad of level 8, 9 and 10 weapons and armor, including 11 blue guns, 4 purple, 3 blue armor, 2 purple. My Iron Banner cloak, and a Dead Orbit cloak along with a few cool others. All of my materials, strange coins, black wax idols, weapon parts, sapphire wire etc. And almost a thousand spin metal.
Let it be known that I expect nothing to carry over, and I hope and can almost guarantee EVERYTHING will be wiped. However, it couldn't hurt. I mean, a level 1 character trading in a thousand spin metal to the vanguard quartermaster couldn't hurt one bit. Amirite? ;)
Anyone else wanna share what they sweatily stuffed into storage? :3

1 ReplyI don't think the stuff should transfer but I did just in case. People were lucky enough to get access to the beta and now want to keep everything just shows how spoiled rotten kids are these days. Back in the day you had to buy a game to see if you liked it or if you was lucky it might be in Nintendo power which by the way I was in the October 88 issue for the highest score in Indiana jones that's right I'm a boss

I put some stuff into storage, just in case. I'm pretty sure that the characters and vault will be wiped, though. I wouldn't mind if they kept our grimoire score and card collection intact, though.

1 ReplyI put my stuff all over the place, but I had all my best level 8 items equipped and all my rares in the vault. I didn't get any legendaries so I'm still a bit bitter when people brag about how easy they were to obtain >_>

The only reason I put items in my vault was to have them when I made another character to play through the Beta.

3 RepliesNo offence but if you believe that they will only wipe your character but leave your vault untouched, you need to have a little dose of common sense (or maybe a large dosage). If they wipe out characters they are also going to wipe out everything else, including your vault.

Everything blue or better got into the vault. Mostly in case they decided to up the max level in the last few days of the beta. Keeping it into the release would be a nice surprise, but I honestly couldn't say what I have stored away, except for a legendary vest that the decrypter fellow thought would suit my Titan

Vaulted legendary weapons and armor and rare items as well I even stored a couple of ships and emblema

I didnt really think about vaulting EVERYTHING ..... I mean i put most of my materials, and weapons and gear that was too high of a level...but most of my best lvl 8 gear i left equipped on my hunter and my titan. I guess if they wipe characters ill still have my highest level/ rarest things. And if they wipe vaults ill still have all the best stuff i could use at the time. And if they wipe both then none of it matters really lols

I stored a full set of lv 10 armor and my preferred load out of weapons (lv 10) plus everything (excluding spinmetal) from my inventory in the vault and my rank 1 IB cape, IB shader & a shader from the cryptarch. Plus my Timurs lash HC and a bunch of other stuff i cant remember off the top of my head. (I hoarded like a mofo "just in case")

I salvaged all my rare/legendary gear. because it was obvious that beta progress would be wiped.

LOL...yea..hehe..I really wanted to keep my purple sniper rifle and my purple "angry giant" and a few other nice cool stuff hehe...but I won't be mad if I do it all over again hehe...managed to get my cryptarch to lvl 17 before the beta ended so had a bunch of cool stuff blue and purple hehe.... yea I grinded a ton so he lvl'ed up really fast :P

We didn't have any super valuable stuff, but yeah. My whole Fireteam made it by seconds.
