This "event" that happened Saturday 26th
I feel its unappropriate that the information about this special event or what have you was given only the day prior to. We all love games and we all love being a part of them. the fact that i'm a part of the beta yet JUST missed out on this "event" enrages me. they should have notified us DAYS before. Nobody likes being a part of something without getting credit. I'm a part of this beta too and this emblem commemorating the beta is credit i deserve as does everyone who has played the beta. I'm really disappointed...This beta is a waste of my time if I test it and get nothing.

1 ReplyDo you follow their Twitter? They post a lot of info to that after or at the same time as they post weekly updates and the like. 2 RepliesI agree especially If u paid money to preorder the game and then out of the blue they release it for free people who paid should get some kind of reward regardless if they made the time frame or not just saying games still awesome though

Question: Was it only on 2pm pacific? If i conected like at 5pm, can i get it?.... Btw.... They notified plenty in advance.

It wasn't even an event though, I was very disappointed with it. I was hoping to have everyone gather in the tower or have large groups participate in a huge strike, instead everyone continued to do their own thing and it wasn't anything special. It didn't even notify you if you got it or not.

They said it from the very beginning of beta they was doing this also messages as you logged in days before the event said the same thing.

I agree, but to a certain extent. I also missed out on being available to play during the 4-hour window (I was on a plane to California with family). I've had an absolutely wonderful time playing the beta and I'm super excited for the full release when I'll get to experience the moon and many other missions. I'm very happy and privileged to have put many hours into the beta. That being said, I do certainly feel disappointed that I won't be receiving the emblem even though I've put many hours into the beta, but missed the special window due to circumstances outside of my control. It would be nice to receive something to commemorate my time, and show off that I was in the beta. I think it would help me feel like I was more a part of the community. Even if there was just a second, small item that was available to everyone who participated at any point during the beta, I'd be very happy. Regardless, I'm so happy that I've been able to spend the time that I've had with Destiny so far, and I can't wait until the full game releases. I really think we're all in for a fantastic time!

The beta isnt about you, its about seeing how the game holds up on release, testinf the servers and fixing glitches. Think yourself lucky for even being able to play this magnificent game.
