Pros and cons of the Beta.

I am about to list pros, cons (constructive criticism) and opinions I have of the beta. If you look into my account it may or may not say I have played yet depending on when you read this. I have been enjoying the beta thoroughly on my other account, but come July 26th you better believe I'll give this account some action. I wanted to state that just in case someone comments saying "You haven't played yet!". I also want to quickly add this may not be everything, but it will be what I can think of off the top of my head. Anyways, let me start off with the Pros. I love the whole Borderlands vibe. I'm not saying Destiny is Borderlands, but Borderlands is an incredible game on it's own, so when you think of an awesome layout like that and try to give it a supporting successful online multi-player/matchmaking you're getting dangerously exciting. I love the customization aspects of the character, and I love the whole currency system of how to purchase things with the specialized vendors and everything. I pretty much think what they've been shooting for is not bad in the least, but the more I think about it a couple lines need to be drawn. This is where the cons start to take effect. I think it's a bad idea to bring what you have in-game to multi-player with your special weapons and such. That has certain players at extreme disadvantages and I think preset loadouts or certain weapon restrictions need to take place. And if neither of those work try to make it so only equally ranked opponents go against each other. That way a level six doesn't face a level twenty. I also think there needs to be an additional system like the ranking system in Halo 3 of true rank. Since Halo 3 there has been no game to provide a solid structure surfacing the skilled players from the wannabe's. Sure anyone can sit around all day and reach a high rank killing AI enemies or just constant matchmaking, but then are they truly skilled? In Halo 3 it was about the thrill of earning that 50 and knowing it stood for something. Please provide the same experience! I'm sure Bungie has a million tricks up their sleeves we do not know. I seriously hope Bungie takes my thoughts into consideration for the final product. Thanks for reading, please comment. -FrznPond
