I think that would be best for everyone. Let beta testers full their vault with all the items they amassed during the beta and reset all characters. The vault would be waiting for our new characters on 9/9.

But I dismantle all the weak stuff. I don't use the vault at all.

Yeah but the vault is where I've put all my rare and legendary items that I can't use yet like timur's lash
