SLOWEST game download ever ! I've downloaded plenty of full games and betas in the past and they take under an hour. I started my beta download 4 hours ago and I'm only on 53%.

I preordered for Xbox360 7 hours ago and I still have not gotten a beta key. I heard that they ran out of keys, so can ANYONE give me a key? I've been so excited to play this game that I've taken off the next few days of work and convinced a few friends to preorder with me.

Hey guardians/Bungie, I'm here to describe my experience with the beta. The only time I got to play it was the first couple days of launch, so I only had about 6 hours with it. In that time, I found pretty much no bugs at all. No error in animations or anything. I'm not sure if it's just me, but there seemed to be a delay in player deaths. I can remember shooting a dude first on the chest, next the head, and last on the chest again with a good scout rifle. He died right after the 3rd shot, but it said he died of the headshot, my 2nd shot. It was also kind of noticeable with melee kills. It was a really rewarding experience. I thoroughly enjoyed story mode (Especially after the ghost revives you and your on the run). The gameplay flowed really well. I liked having my options to choose from for my combat style, and the really adaptive AI. It was interesting to see a enemy with rechargeable shields take cover from you if they had low health, much like a human player would. Also liked the dodging skills of the enemy, and how melee orientated enemies would hide if you were sniping them, rather than stupidly rush you. All this, and it was still possible to be a solo badass. I'm not usually a big fan of PvP, but I enjoyed the crucible. It's nice to have the level differences removed, helping to balance combat. And even common weapons can quickly destroy an enemy (If used for the intended way). I thought I was bad at online play, always getting headshoted in COD, but out of all my matches, I usually ranked 2nd. I was really disappointed in being forced to play First light almost all the time. The vehicles are WAY OVERPOWERED. The tank is slow, but devastating with one shot splash damage kills and ultimate defense. The other vehicle wasn't quite as strong, but was extremely agile and had a high rate of fire. This made the game a mad scramble for vehicles, and less of a shooter. The only real way to take them out (without a nearby turrent) was either with heavy ammo, or a super. I used the golden gun to take out a couple of tanks quickly. My recommendation is to either reduce the power of the vehicles, or increase super gages and heavy ammo spawns. Well, that is about it. I haven't been able to play the beta for the past few days, and still won't :(. It really sucks, but I'm glad for my time with Destiny. Fret not Xbox players, you only really need about 6 hours with the Beta to enjoy it fully. I was able to beat the story missions, play 15 rounds in the crucible, run the devils lair twice, patrol for a while, and get all but one of my slots to uncommon gear, and max out my hunter at level 8. I would like it if Bungie let out level progression carry over up to level 5 or so. I think it would be nice to avoid having to level up just to get basic things such as grenades and a extra Ariel movement. Thanks for reading/skimming, see you at launch.
