Why does a girl get nearly 300 replies on a forum just for saying hi, and then most of the replies are saying girl gamers are 'just' gamers.
If your girlfriend was a girl gamer you'd drown in your own tears of joy be honest..

Well I was partially taking the piss to make a point, it's like wanting what you don't have or can't have, when you have a non gamer girlfriend who always nags about you playing call of duty at ridiculous hours of the morning and complains because you missed your child's birth because it was the same day that Destiny came out, then you're probably gonna pray for a gamer girlfriend and if you have a gamer girlfriend then it's not such a big deal.

I agree its a sad state of affairs that we make gender or sexual preference an issue in the first place. I'd prefer Devs were free to just stick to their artistic vision but what can you do. It's a big deal to most people. I'm neither homophobic or sexist so it's not an issue to me. I'm more thankful the robots don't look like wimps. So thanks bungie for making badass looking bots, not wimpy johnny-5 wannabes

Speaking from experience, most men who say they wish they had a "gamer girlfriend" don't actually want one. I've been dumped for being better then the person I was dating and have had multiple fights with others for "not acting like the typical gamer girl and going healer" (I usually play dps or tanks) Usually when men run across one of us that isn't the guild mama bear or girlfriend/wife of an officer or guild/clan leader they don't know what to do with themselves.

That just sounds pathetic to be honest. You we're just unlucky then hope you find the right guy in the future if you haven't already, on the second part my MO is just to treat them as any other person. I make jokes about everyone, I'm not going to hold back just because someone is a girl xD
