So I attended the event "The Iron Banner" and was able to play a few games and rank up to level 1. Then around 9:09pm I was disconnected from the bungie servers. When I logged in none of my progress for the last two hours saved (no guns, armor, xp, money, nothing). I visited the tower about two times during this event. What I'm wondering is how does the game save? I find it hard to believe that all my progress is gone for those hours.
