Can someone from Bungie comment on whether or not there's a way to play the beta on a college campus that has an NAT Type 3? I'm frequently seeing that issue on here; it would be nice for someone from Bungie to provide more guidance since we can't change a college NAT Type. Plus, there's no phone number or e-mail we can contact Bungie at; the least they could do is provide helpful responses to the questions on this entire forum.
Been getting this centipede error for over a day now. I haven't been able to play the beta at all.

It isn't the NAT type causing this problem. Many people, myself included, are NAT 1 and are completely shut out. Additionally it seems like the issue is split. Some people are getting fixes from switching accounts, but not everyone. Others are getting success through VPNs. If there's any more information we can offer you guys, let us know.

Players on a Type 3 or Strict NAT will still be able to play Destiny, but they will only be matched with other players who are on a Type 1 or Open NAT, and thus may see empty towers and public spaces, as well as having trouble entering Crucible matches. This is why we recommend that players change to a Type 1 or Type 2 NAT.

You can. I can play every single game I have online on NAT Type 3 except for this beta.
You can. I can play every single game I have online on NAT Type 3 except for this beta.
The game is a multiplayer game. Nat type 3 isn't the best for multiplayer but is fine for singleplayer.

I'm aware of that; I'm on a college campus so I can't change the connection. I wouldn't be on NAT Type 3 if I had a choice. But I just wanted to make the point that I have other games that I play online on campus perfectly fine, whether it be single player or multiplayer. That's why I'm wondering if there's a way this could be fixed by Bungie.

Your NAT can change depending on how you're networked to your college network as well. For instance, when I ran through a VPN and fixed the issue, my NAT changed from 1 to 2.
