Anytime you get an error code you can check the help page for it. Also check the [url=http://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11930]network troubleshooting guide [/url].

Yeah I'm having the MOST AMAZING TIME testing the start screen. Is the error code called CENTIPEDE because the number of how many times you get booted to the start screen is more than the amount of legs a centipede has? Oh, and then I have to share a VPN'd internet connection to actually get the game going? That's nice of you but I do believe I will be requesting a refund until my internet connection is more suited to the games processes.

In fairness, this is a beta. It's kinda meant to find errors just like this so when the game launches you wont have this trouble. So just calm down, play something else for a little bit and wait too see what Bungie can do. I'm sure they'll be working on this problem, I'm in the same boat as you with this error. But a bit more info from Bungie would be great, please SaintD. If you can ever say anything about it.

I can't comment on specific errors. Engineers are working their butts off though. All this playtesting really is helping the game.

I didn't think you'd be able to shed much light on what's going on. But knowing that the engineers are working their butts off (as I thought they'd be, along with all the other errors) is good enough for me and with the PSA you guys posted I hope it gets sorted soon. Thanks!

Yeah I tried that and no dice lol. So the only advice is to keep trying? I think I spent 3 hours trying to connect to the servers, kinda got discouraged/gave up…

I've been trying as well but no matter what I do I can't get passed the main title screen. Earlier today I actually got to the select location screen and then I got booted out of the server. Ever since noon I've been pressing the X button hoping to get in, and it's now 7pm and still no luck.

in the same boat. Doesnt matter if my nat is type 1 or 2. on wifi or cable. tried at work, gfs, and my place but no luck. only got a hour or two of beta before it happened. Also my ping test is B* when using wifi Wish i had more info to give bungie to help =/

That's super interesting. Can you post any specific network data you have on the one that doesn't work versus the one that does?
