http://www.destinythegame.com/beta So the time clock. Its taunting me. It is currently 11:15 am EST for me. The timer is for PDT; but its a global timer either way. That's how time works. If this is set for PDT (Bungie central time :D ) then we KNOW (Because this is how time zones work) that the timer is accurate for all time zones. If they had given a particular time then we would all have to do conversions like everyone is doing below this post. Bungie gave us a timer though. I think it should be pretty accurate, no? It will be available for all PS users when that hits 0. Im seeing a lot of 10am PDT threads (Which is 1pm EST for me in FLorida). If I take this clock and follow it precisely though, then for me (EST) it will be 3AM on the 17th of July. Lets say this is JUST PDT....3 hours behind me. That means 6AM my time. Am I missing something?

 • I think the timer is actually what it implies: a countdown clock that is most likely not preset to any one time zone. Which means (since you live in FL like I do), we would be able to play/download at 1 pm, and in PDT time this would be 10 am. It equates to the same thing, one is a countdown, while the report gave the exact time the countdown would end! :3
