Whether they can or can't do it is irrelevant. They say they don't want to do it. And it's their game so how about we shut up and let them make it, k?
They'll sell millions of copies, get highly scored reviews and win a bunch of awards. And guess what? They'll accomplish all of this without splitscreen.

It is relevant because everyone is assuming it cannot be done when Bungie never said yes or no. And I know it is their game but a lot of players still want splitsceeen regardless if Bungie said no. And I do not care if Destiny does good without splitscreen but it could do BETTER with it.

There is just a handful of people asking for it over and over again. Big difference. They may try to put a poll up without all the facts and get a lot of people to vote, but all those voting in favor of ss would reverse that decision when Bungie explains what would be compromised as a result of ss. Sorry my boy, Bungie is making this game and they don't want ss. Sure they'll listen to the community, but that's no guarantee they'll do what you want--no matter how many others want it. This whole concept of not getting what you want must be hard for you to accept considering how new it is to you. If I were you I'd be very upset with your parents for spoiling you your whole life.

There you go again assuming. How do you know something would be "compromised" if they added splitscreen. And there is a lot of people asking for ss if a poll clearly shows that! And my parents spoil me? Again with assuming. All the people against splitscreen like to assume.

It's not that we like to assume, it's that we trust Bungie with the development of their own game. And as I said earlier, your biased poll has biased results. And it's only natural to assume someone is spoiled when they repeatedly throw a temper-tantrum if they don't get what they want. Don't want to wear that label? Then don't behave in ways that guarantee you'll be labeled as such. I don't expect you to understand any of this. Only the willfully ignorant keep on like you are. In fact I'm a little embarrassed to be having this discussion with you. I may as well be talking to a brick wall.

It's not alive in bungie. Maybe when they first started building destiny they thought about adding splitscreen, splitscreen was a little twinkle in their eye. But, it then became like an unwanted pregnancy that would intrude into their lives, their vision for this game. So they terminated the pregnancy. The aborted splitscreen.

That was a really dumb way of putting it. I still do not see how they cannot add it later or to only PvP.
