If you knew anything about who Bungie is, then you'd know that "we didn't want to" is all the reason they need. Bungie has created the game THEY wanted to. And only then wanted to share that with their fans and gamers. If the consumers aren't satisfied, show them by not purchasing it. Only sales matter now. Activision is the only one here who is gambling. We haven't invested a dime yet. If you've preordered it, cancel. Crying about it, and claiming Bungie did YOU wrong is not going to change anything. All it does is make you look entitled and spoiled.

Sure But Bungie promised a social game A game that I would want to play with my friends over and over again I would imagine that type of game would include split screen and public chat I imagined that it'd be the game that I'd pull out during a party or when a friend is over Apparently not And just because I'm disappointed about one feature of the game doesn't mean I hate the game and that I should cancel my preorder It's a feature that thy should put in the game

It's a feature that only the vocal minority want. Everyone who frequents game forums know that those who partake make up such a small percentage of the userbase that it's insignificant. I will def whip out Destiny when I have friends over who don't have the game. I want them to get a taste and then go buy it themselves. But whatever. I can see that there are people who want this feature. Proxy chat too. Maybe Bungie will cave. I just hope whatever Bungie does doesn't compromise their vision and love for the world they've created.

It's a feature that everyone wants Anyone who has ever played any multiplayer game knows that split screen is a vital part of the game It's such a big part of the game that it's expected And whoever says that they don't want it, they're wrong They would very much like it Except they're riding on the hype train and thinks that Bungie is always right

Yeeeeeah. Not sure where you were going with that but a better analogy would be great. Like I said just rest in the fact that we were heard. No one is entitled to follow through with a person's opinion.

You are still missing the point. It does matter because they could have ignored the community completely. It's selfish and inconsiderate to think that developers are just suppose to listen to you and follow to because you have an opinion when it isn't a game THEY had envisioned. They do enough as is but they cant please ALL their fans. That's any game. Plus you have to realize it is only a minority of people asking for it. It isn't a large enough group of people from the get go. If you really have that much of a problem with not getting your way then don't spend your money to support their decision. Not every gamer is going to get their wishes because that leads to a very convoluted game.

Split screen has been a major component of multiplayer games since multiplayer was first created They make the game for us, the fans, so they kinda do have to listen Trust me It's not a small fraction Almost everyone here would love split screen The only reason why you guys are defeating Bungie is because of the hype train You guys refuse to accept any criticism of the game and continue to falsely believe that it's a perfect game

People need to move on from the norm. That's how gaming is able to blossom. No I do not believe the game is perfect. I just believe the addition of splitscreen will hinder the game from its true potential. If it was almost everyone there would be far more posts and a much more people signing this so called petition to change things. So I find this statement to be false. Me? I am a gamer that welcomes change. I am an open minded gamer and criticism is my way of life. You don't know me besides my alias on a forum, so slow your roll. I am in no way hindering the game because guess what, Bungie made their decision before hand buddy. Hence their reasoning for denying your claim for splitscreen so this whole drivel you are spilling is for naught.

Never said you guys were hindering Bungie I just said you guys need to stop blindly defending Bungie every time they mess up This time, they messed up Why can't you just come to terms with that? They already gave you what you want What about the people who want to play with their brothers or wife? Bungie promised this to be "a game you'll want to play with your friend over and over again. It's the ultimate social experience" Then they take out public chat and split screen Of course split screen hinders a game in some ways but it also opens up a whole new world You say you're open to change and new experiences This is not a new experience This is the same type of game except with parts cut out of it Sure you can "play as Bungie wanted you to play" as you say No one is forcing you to play split screen But I've always imagined this game as a game that I'd put out when a friend comes over or at a party It's awfully anti social when only one person is playing
