A message for all PS4 users!
I have been a bungie kid since Christmas of 2001 and it makes me sad to see all the xbox owners have their faith get shaken so easily. The way they lash out at PS4 owners and Bungie is unsettling! But, I want you to know we're not all like that. So, here is my message. I want to welcome you to a company that has brought me more joy than I can ever portray with words. I want to welcome you on behalf of every little punk who's face I have stomped in to a mud hole on multiplayer time and time again. I want to say welcome, from the bottom of my heart, and I hope you all get to experience the joy that I have shared with my friends over the last 13 years with yours! ENJOY YOUR ALPHA and let me worry about these whinny little crap talking noobs in multiplayer on your behalf. Welcome aboard!! Be brave.

It's funny because a lot of PS4 user like myself switched over from Xbox. I grew up through high school playing halo2 and halo3, I'm excited for Destiny because it's made from the people who brought me one of my favorite games of all time. Not all PS4 users are new to Bungie :P

I'm a PS4 gamer, but in the previous gen I owned both a PS2 and an Xbox, and then a PS3 and a 360. The endless bickering between the two sides is tiresome - I got a PS4 because it had the games I wanted, simple as that. So I shall say: well spoken, sir! I hope you enjoy the Beta just as much as we do :)

1 ReplyIs it just me or did the 360 feel like so much more of a social machine? Even the xbox one to an extent. If I had to say anything about the PS4 crowd I would say you guys enjoy a nice quite dark hole to game in the majority of time? Or is it just that playstation is just now getting a good grasp on the online world? Yeah they had PSN but it was never Xbox live. Thoughts?

1 ReplyI am also a fellow Xbox owner who hold's no grudge towards our fellow gamers. I have the patience to wait for the beta and would like to thank the PlayStation users who were kind enough to share their knowledge of the alpha with us. I look forward to the day when we can all get our hands on the full game, and discuss it together as fellow gamers.

Thank you Guardian. I used to be an Xbox player until 3 years ago so played all the halos and loved every minute of it. Only bought a Playstation as none of my close friends had an Xbox much to my dismay and resistance I bought a ps3 wasn't overly impressed but bit the bullet anyway and since that day I've missed halo. Now destiny fills that void In my life where halo was and I can't wait for the full version. Only downside is we as gamers can't play together but only as Playstation or Xbox. I love Microsoft for the Xbox as it gave me many years of joy and so has Playstation so I am a gamer regardless of platform I am here to play and to win.

I seriously do not see the problem with ps owners finally getting a bungie game. I am a bit jealous they got the alpha tho lol. I hope u guys enjoyed it. I am excited for beta. 5 RepliesThanks man! as an avid PS guy, (tho ive owned every system but the saturn) its nice to finally see people identifying as "gamers" not Playstation or xbox ( or Sega and Nintendo for the older crowd lol) Because thats what we all are; Gamers. Also, for anyone who hasnt played it, Destiny is a mix of Halo, Borderlands, and Mass Effect. Translation: its F**King awesome. Excuse my poor language but it is only fitting for how awesome it really is. lol

I've owned and still own most of the Halo series across multiple platforms. I don't care where the guys at Bungie roll. They roll with grace, style, and ears to the community. They do great work, they don't tolerate (lol) "evil shenanigans", and they produce polished games that are fun to play. This console partisan/college football crap needs to go away. It's just weird. You can own and play on multiple gaming platforms. It's allowed.

I bought an xbox 360 to play halo 4 and I will probably do it again for halo 5. Bungie makes amazing games and I as well am glad that hard core PS fans can now enjoy a piece of the brilliance and passion that changed the FPS genre forever. Congrats everyone and welcome to bungies army. Had to make an edit because my brother reminded me of when we played Oni on pc.. them was good times as well.
