I hate brand loyalty but Sony pissed me off a ton when they kept saying "Exclusive" to the PS4. Meanwhile, it isn't -blam!-ing exclusive. Get your shit together!

I'm not much of a fan of exclusive content because like many other gamers, I only have enough money to buy one console and only enough time for quality game time on one console. However, there are benefits to exclusive content. Exclusive titles and DLC encourages competition between the major console developers (in this case MS and Sony). The gameplay experience that we all enjoy today is due to the competition (mainly between these two developers). Furthermore, our future gameplay experiences will be driven by the competition between both console developers and game developers. I am willing to live with exclusive content as long as it generates healthy competition within the market that incentivizes developers to continue to improve our gameplay experience.

hate to break it to ya but MS also does the same thing. let's not forget that exclusive CoD DLC for Advanced Warfare like always. Both companies will toot their exclusive horns for timed and full on.

I'd usually agree with you, but I paid close attention to that this year. Microsoft never called anything an exlcusive if it wasn't while Sony made it seem like it was for a few titles, but they still never said that they were (just heavily implied it).
