Were you gobsmacked at what they revealed? Or was it mainly "Meh"?
In my opinion they totally rocked it this year. The Xbox One has a great year ahead of it.
-
i wanted more kinect features to be announced in the works atleast once... it was a few A and AAA titles and then nothing but indie games.
-
Not gobsmaked, but I was like yeah these are some great games. They didn't blow me away like Nintendo did or Ubisoft did (with The Division and AC: Unity).
-
Microsoft and Nintendo made my wallet cry.
-
Yea. I thought they did a good job. MCC was obviously a win on the hearts of veteran Xbox gamers and its great to know that Crackdown is back. I certainly think they did better than Sony but really, E3 is a Nintendo show.
-
It was better than it's been in a while. MCC, SSOD, ACU, RotTomb Raider, Inside and Ori all saw to that. The lack of megaton announcements of new games irked me, though. MS's only all-new heavy-hitter for the autumn is SSOD. I was expecting a megaton sequel or all-new announcement.
-
Microsoft blew it away with the games games games! And then i got pissed when Bioware showed us concept images of Mass Effect 4 and told us to wait and see whats next. And then i lost my shit when Destiny was shown to have all these playstation exclusive shit
-
Actually, MS did much better than I expected. Pleasantly surprised.
-
No. That's all I'm going to say or I'll risk going into an angry rant right before my last 2 finals.
-
I only give one about MCC, but that single handedly won the show for me.

Edited by Obsric: 6/10/2014 11:26:25 AMI thought it was incredibly solid, and the Master Chief Collection was a fantastic bonus, given I thought it was just rumor and we'd just see Halo 2 Anniversary. Phil Spencer did exactly what he had to do; just concentrated on the games.
-
MCC was all I needed to here. Everything else was just made it better.

Edited by DEZARATH: 6/10/2014 11:17:50 AMI'm an older gamer. I guess MS just doesn't appeal to me anymore. Sunset Overdrive looks like fun and Forza will always have a special place in my heart due to how great Forza 4 was with my family all loving it at this party. Man that was fun. But Gears, COD and a remastered Halo 123 and 4.... just... I bought those already and played them for years. The community burned me out. I'm never going back to Halo. Good or even great. I'm done. The only thing that would have made me buy a Xbone without reservations was No Man's Sky being an exclusive. But it's on the PS4. So I guess I'll just wait and see if another game comes along that makes me want it as bad as NMS. I guess if they made a Godzilla 2014 tie-in that was a version of Skyrim only set in San Francisco. Or an Open World Transformers game that isn't dumb...then I'd have to have a Xbone.
-
My expectations were:
Microsoft: -Halo 2 Anniversary -Halo 5 -TV (probably featuring Halo TV show progress as well) -COD -Sunset Overdrive -Quantum break -Forza, Fable, other titles in passing montage -new Conker game teaser
So pretty much exactly.

Edited by Cyberwo1ff: 6/10/2014 11:02:59 AMThere was no talk, just game after game. It was brilliant. However, having watched both, Sony definitely presented their conference better. But Xbox had more content, and thats what matters.
-
It was above my expectations. I knew some of what was coming...I just didn't know it'd be that much.
-
I had none for them so yes
-
No man's land TV PSTV TV TV netflix TV ...oh wait. That wasn't MS this time.
-
MCC was all I needed
-
Yes, so much so that I'll be getting an Xbox one.
-
It was better than I though it would be.
-
It surpassed my expectations with the MC collection.
-
It was alright, but I'm ecstatic about the MCC.
-
Forza Horizon 2 is coming out on my birthday. Yes, today was a good day.
-
Nope.
-
-
No, it was boring. The only games I'm psyched for is Witcher 3, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare and Fable Legends.
