Stop the Xbox and PlayStation War!

For quite a while now, there has been a war going on between Xbox and PlayStation. Honestly, its pointless! Just because PlayStation will get the Beta FOUR DAYS early, an extra multi-player map, an extra strike mission, and Alpha access, doesn't mean that Bungie betrayed Xbox. Seriously? It really is just so silly and pointless!
Bungie would never betray their Xbox community, most especially the one they have been building for 13 years! Since the Xbox community is already strong with Bungie, now they are trying to build the PlayStation community. Together as a community, we should be excited for this! Both consoles are great, and in a perfect world we would have both.
For Xbox users, just be grateful that Destiny isn't a PlayStation exclusive. And most of all, be excited that we have something that PlayStation users will never have, and its the reason we are all here talking on Bungie today: [b]Halo[/b]. I could not be happier as an Xbox user, to know that I will be able to play all FOUR Halos in 1080p in 60fps with over 100 multiplayer maps with dedicated servers on ONE disc for $60. Just the fact that we get to relive Halo again in all its glory, beats all the exclusive content that PlayStation has to offer. It's a good time to be an Xbox user, so be happy about it.
For the PlayStation users, please stop bragging about all your special content. I'm actually really glad that Bungie (Activision) is trying to grow their fan base with PlayStation, and I will be there to support you guys with all the fun stuff you will be doing. Even so, it doesn't give you any reason to brag and put us other users down.
Instead of feeling "betrayed" by Bungie, we should realize that they are trying to build the community. No matter what console we play on, we are playing the same game. We should be excited about that. As an Xbox user, of course I feel left out. I wish that I didn't have to buy a PS4 to get all the extra stuff, but thats just the way it is. Complaining about it like immature adults, will affect the community in a negative way. So do a favor for me, yourself, Bungie and everyone else, and stop complaining and bragging like immature gamers! And for those that have chosen to grow up and use logic, thank you!

7 RepliesHonestly you strict Xbox fans do sound really whiny. I've played Halo since it first released on Xbox, but they do not belong to Microsoft anymore, they belong to Activison. It's not their choice to give Sony the exclusive content, and the beta earlier. The fact that people are complaining seem ridiculous to me. Halo is in the past and Destiny is the future, if you want the exclusive content than get a PS4 or else stop complaining. Should I complain that Microsoft bought the rights to the first Titanfall? No, I should either deal with it like the ADULT that I am, or buy an XONE. Again I love all systems, but seriously without Bungie Xbox would have failed and there wouldn't have even been an Xbox 360 or XONE. If anything you should thank Bungie for making your precious Xbox brand relevant. You people that only game on one system have to realize there are going to be advantages and disadvantages that come with each system. Either deal with the disadvantages or *gasp* branch out and game on more than one system.

It really is pointless I had a ps4 and I switched to Xbox one because I like it better who cares about getting the beta early or exclusives I'm just excited to even get to play the freakin game I love bungie and can't wait till September 9

I agree if xbox people including me were betrayed then destiny would be an exclusive which I am glad about to my fellow xboxians are you happy about this? I am, destiny probably could of been an exclusive so we should be happy with it

I will admit this, I did feel like they were favoring, but I know it isn't the case. Plus the awesome marketing firm at Playstation convinced me with the old sharing is caring commercial for the game lol.

If by any chance grown ass men are on this console war saying anything other than who cares, its immature or buy both... get a life, get money, get a family and some ¶u$$y. End of discussion.

Look at it this way. PS will get access to the beta early (not by much I would assume) but the data does not transfer over from the beta. All progress will be lost. Bam! So when the game releases to everyone, we will all have to start from scratch. Just some food for thought..

Finally! The voice of reason. Yes, the only reason Playstation gets early content is to promote the system. They aren't "betraying Xbox." If they were betraying Xbox they would have made Destiny PS3/PS4 exclusive BUT THEY DIDN'T. All fan boys need to calm their tits and just get the game. If you are still b!ching about exclusive/early content then just get a different system. WHO CARES?! Their pretty much the same now anyway.
