Edit: Done. I got the Mass Effect Trilogy on Amazon for $30.00, so cheaper than if I bought 2 and 3 stand alone.

Like the other guy mentioned: For ME1, save frequently....it's...unforgiving in terms of saves. Also just listing the points of no return so do all the stuff you want to do before this point. ME1: You get 4 missions that take place on other planets after becoming a Specter. Finishing ing any 4th one is the point of no return. ME2: The Reaper IFF mission. Not really the point of no return but bad stuff append if you wait to actually get to the point. ME3: The Assault of the ----- Base. Admiral Hacket will also somewhat mention it as well.

ME1 can be a bit of a chore, I eventually gave up, but I think I was too young, and plan to revisit in the next week or so after my exams are up. ME2 is brilliant, great balance of gameplay and story. Have yet to play ME3, again after exams I will. I've heard it is less story and more action, but I'm so engrossed in the universe I don't care, and just want to see the finale to the entire trilogy I have moulded with my actions It's a brilliant franchise, you won't regret the hours playing it or bit
-
You should play all three, however ME1 hasn't aged very well and it doesnt stick with everybody. But I recommend you play everything(includes all DLC's for 2 & 3).
-
Pick Vanguard.
-
Yes, the two Mass Effect games are pretty good.
-
YES. Oh, just a tip. On ME1. Make sure you manually save.
-
Yes, you will love those games.
-
Dude yes I bough all three cheap special box and stuff, it's really cool when you play it more than once seeing all the things you didn't do and could do the next time you play
-
Yes, you should. Great series with lovable characters and memorable moments that you'll never forget.
-
-
don't waste money on them they suck the demo is the only fun part of the game
-
Yes it is one of the best sci-fi game series of all time and in my opinion the BEST game of all time.
-
If you have a next gen console then you should wait for the remastered trilogy.. That's what I'm doing
-
skip the third
-
As others have said they are remastering the lot for Xbox one & PS4. I would wait for that, that's what I will do. Once I get a next gen machine 09/09/14
-
Start with the first. If u don't the story will confuse you. I just bought three of them myself
-
Get all three. As someone who's invested well over 1000 hours into the trilogy, it's certainly worth it.You miss out on a large chunk of lore and character development by skipping the first game. Plus, Mass Effect Trilogy is only $29.99 anyway. I'm pretty sure buying ME2 and ME3 on their own would actually cost more.
-
yes + all dlc.
-
-
Yes :/ despite the first ones horrible combat system and the third ones many issues the game has lots of cliffhangers and a lot of questions wont be answered unless you play all three....or maybe you have OCD like me...
-
If you can past get past the stiff and cumbersome gameplay, they are supposedly great.
-
The second one is the best out of the trilogy; however that doesn't mean you should skip the first one. Even though the first one has a terrible combat system, I would strongly recommend playing the first one so you can get introduced to the characters and see how the develop throughout the game. When you have completed the first one and started the second one you will notice a change in the characters; mainly how the event so of the first Mass Effect game affected them and their lives.
-
First one has best story but the gameplay sucks compared to the other two. It's a give and take.
-
They're okay. Massively overhyped, but okay.
-
Definitely play all three in order
