Trust has to be earned back. IO has been shit for approaching a decade, Absolution sucked, and Square Enix is beyond incompetent when it comes to understanding the market. I just can't put faith in anything they say or show.

I don't think Absolution sucked. Sure I hated some parts, but I still enjoyed it. But not as much as other Hitman games. I'm sure they learned from those mistakes and that they want to stay loyal to their true friends.

Their last four games were pretty bad. And let's not forget Square Enix, an incompetent publisher, is overseeing this game. We've had several Square Enix memos confirming that their games will have every shitty buzz word (micro transactions, F2P, persistent online) crammed in to future projects. You know how I know Io sucks? Because how do you -blam!- up the sequel to Blood Money? People at Io consciously decided to move away from Blood Money and to make Absolution. How can anyone trust those people? Io literally could have just made new levels with Blood Money mechanics and 2006 graphics and they would have been applauded. They couldn't even manage to do that.

Well.. It's mostly opinion. I did like Absolution as I said before.
