Bioshock Infinite: where did Fink get ADAM for vigors?
In Burial at Sea we learn that he and Suchong collaborated to make vigors, and they briefly mention Fink having to send crews down to Rapture to get slugs, but prior to the DLC, was there just no explanation? Even the one they came up with is pretty flimsy since Big Daddies would be guarding Rapture and the slugs would have been extremely valuable in the making of Little Sisters, not to mention that drinkable vigors require ten times as much ADAM as injectors.

You gotta understand that Rapture and Columbia are seperated by a few decades, Fink collaborated with Suchong through the tears but likely did the undersea excursions in his own universe where in 1912. Rapture wasn't even built by then and there were likely untapped amounts of sea slugs. The problem was how expensive the undersea trips were and that Vigors are uneconomical as they require 10x the ADAM that injectables use.
