It looks almost exactly like The Dark Knight Returns Batsuit. Not my favorite. A little too oldschool, especially since the advancement of being able to turn his head in The Dark Knight. Plus, the longer ears make the cowl look sleeker.

Well, frank Miller is on the project and they wanted to portray an "older, more experience batman." Makes sense to me.

Still looks pretty terrible compared to the armored batsuits in the Dark Knight movies. He went from being able to take a bullet to looking like he's wearing a rubber suit. The only way it could really be worse, in my mind, is if they added "batnipples".

Edited by Prehistoric: 5/14/2014 3:34:44 PMPlebian. It doesn't. I really doesn't. The movie's always portray a completely black costume, which is not what Batman is about. For the first time ever, we'll get a good representation of what batman is. We've never had that before.

Edited by Morgan Freeman: 5/13/2014 5:29:56 PMI'm a pleb because I don't think a batsuit from the 80's can cut it in 2014? The suit looks like shit. It doesn't look very durable, resilient, or practical, which is supposed to be kind of the point since Batman doesn't have superpowers. Ben Affleck in a wet suit and mask fighting crime, how believable.
-
"WHERE'S THA JOKAH?"
-
Lol, no. The suit still cuts it today. If you read comics, you'd know that. >implying they want a believable batman
-
Most people in this thread don't like the suit, and we're the internet nerds that really like Batman. Laughing and calling us plebs isn't going to make us suddenly like it. The average person is probably going to hate it too. And to top it off Ben -blam!-ing Affleck is Batman. He was good in, like, one of his movies, Argo. Yeah, I'm probably going to skip this one as I don't have high hopes. Hell, I only watched Man of Steel because it was on TV. It wasn't that great.
-
Plebian. You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. The costume is perfection, you just lack the vision to understand Snyder's brilliance. (That goes for this and MoS). The fact that you didn't watch Man of Steel on release weekend clearly demonstrates your lack of commitment to the most iconic superhero of all time, and by extension, his closest companion: Batman. Please think before you type.
-
Do you even hear what you're saying? Go suck Snyder's dick while you jerk off to Affleck and Cavill having gay sex. Man of Steel got a 56% on Rotten Tomatoes. I'd hardly call that brilliance.

Edited by Prehistoric: 5/14/2014 3:36:02 PMIt's okay to be a plebeian. If it gives you joy to be apart of the ignorant masses and follow suit, then who am I to judge? But before you insult Snyder's greatness, perhaps begin to critically think about why he's the director of the movies, and you're not. Snyder's movies have always been I'll-received on RT anyways.
-
Just stop. You're embarrassing yourself. You're saying nothing to refute anything I say other than calling me plebian. I'm starting to wonder if you even know what that word means.
-
Plebeian: I know it maybe difficult to comprehend the complex concepts I'm discussing, but I want you to know that I understand how difficult it is for you. It's okay to be a filthy pleb. You are not alone in this regard, the vast majority of MoS's watchers are joined in the hands of the plebeian empire. Your first step to nobility would be to accept Snyder as your lord and savior; to recognize that he is complete and absolute perfection and that no entity, man or god, can ever lie up to his divine interpretation of these god-like characters.

Actually, I wouldn't really say it's TDKR, but to me it really does look like the New 52 Batman. Honestly, this suit is actually really good.
-
Edited by Morgan Freeman: 5/13/2014 6:21:08 PMFrank Miller wrote The Dark Knight Returns and the logo is more similar to TDKR than the one for the New 52. But I guess a gray suit with black accents is hard to re-imagine after 500 iterations.
