I'm certain Destiny is going to be fantastic. In fact I'm afraid it's going to be too fantastic. It will lure young people in and they will give the exploration for loot a higher priority than what really matters in their lives: becoming the best people they can be. Video games do not matter. Education, building your skills, social life, discipline, and developing a love for God's wonders. That's what really matters. This is why I think there should be a daily time limit that parents can set for their children. The parents should have the ability to customize the time limit and lock it with a password. That way their children will have an allotted time for Destiny per day. When the time limit expires, they will have to wait another 24 hours for the timer to reset. I think this will really encourage kids to focus on their homework. In fact, I think this should be implemented into all gaming consoles.

There is absolutely no reason this game should have a time limit to it. If a parent isn't capable of enforcing allotted timing for gaming and needs a game to do it for them, their child playing too many video games isn't their biggest problem. this is the sad state of the world today, do it for me because I can't bother myself with doing it on my own.

I think this is a good idea that should be built into the consoles, not just games.

I realize you are trying to help, but you have to think about some counter-arguments to your assertion.

I'm sorry, but isn't this the job of a parent and not a gaming company?

You should have a lifetime limit on idiotic posts on this forum.
one that you've exceeded I'm afraid #sorrynotsorry
-
That's a reach and a reach around statement all in one.

Can you lock kiddies out of the forums too? If so... YES PLEASE

Here's for overexaggerating

If people let their lives be consumed by a video game, they shouldn't be playing video games in general. I use video games as a stress reliever and as a hobby but I don't let that get in the way of everyday life. I get the necessities out of the way before I even begin playing.. (E.g, Homework, Chores) oh, and fyi, i'm 16. Playing video games has to come with having a certain level of self control.

Hey if their parents and/or guardians don't have a problem with it then who are you to say something about it
-
The destiny forums should have a thread limit.

Again, you're high as a kite. Some people thoroughly enjoy taking a whole day during a vacation or day off (yes, even people with a wife and family and kids) to spend the whole day playing. This doesn't mean they don't have a life. And they shouldn't be penalized for wanting to do this.
