BL2 has the better guns, but in BL1 the weapons were a lot more randomized so it was extremely satisfying when you found something awesome. Also, you didn't have to spend hours upon hours grinding for legendaries in BL1, you could just kill Crawmweax and get like an explosion of them. In BL2 the legendaries are better and more unique but their stats are less randomized and finding them is a massive pain. Chances are most of your legendaries are going to be duplicated from other players. Also, I had this one assault rifle in BL1 with a mag of like 200 bullets and the firerate of a minigun. It also did like 530 damage per shot which was -blam!-ing powerful back then. That gun was just plain satisfying to shoot for the hell of it, let alone mowing down hordes of mooks, but BL2 has some seriously satisfying weapons as well. The Fibber on Gaige can clear out an entire room in seconds, the DPUH is just badass, as is the Norfleet, Butcher, Conference Call, and Interfacer.
