They're called Shrikes, like the butcher birds that like to impale their prey on thorns. Delightful things >_> Anyways, I'm not so sure about the blade wings, but I do feel that the Shrike should have some amount of splatter potential, even if it is only for a small window that has to go on cool down. Imagine something like a boost that surrounds the vehicle in a cone of highly damaging energy for a few seconds. Seems like it would be fun.
