I've almost beat the game now. I still need to kill the ancient dragon and Vendrick before the last boss. I'm trying to kill the ancient dragon first and DEAR LORD. I'm getting one hit by him over and over, and I keep getting nightmarish flashbacks to the red drake from DaS. The run to get to him every time is no help either.

Do you even have to kill the ancient dragon? Because I didn't and I just finished the game before.

Yeah... they stopped spawning after awhile, which was nice.

Haha yeah I got through them on my first try, but I had like 1 or 2 estus sips left so I just thought, nah, I did well and got through those knights first try, lets not push it.

I know. When I finally killed him it was with the curved dragon greatsword.

Everybody I payed with used that sword. I've got the fully upgraded ultra greatsword. Real slow
