I'm new to the MGS franchise. Fill me in with the plot details
The new Metal Gear Solid game looks quite interesting. However, I've never played any of the MGS games nor do I think I ever will (except the 5th). Can you gentlemen fill me in with the plot details? Feel free to spoil anything you deem fit. I think this isn't against the rules? I just want to know what's going on before I pick up this game.

2 RepliesIn a nutshell. [spoiler]In the past there was this super awesome soldier called Naked Snake. Who later went evil and became Big Boss. The government saw how awesome he was and created 3 clones: Solid Snake, Liquid Snake and Solidus Snake. Liquid Snake was pissed at getting the recessive genes, Solid Snake trained huskies in Alaska and Solidus Snake became President.[/spoiler]
