The miracle lightning bolt spell is amazing. Got it at the beginning of the game and it and like the shockwave miracle are my top two offensive weapons. It's turned every boss fight into loleasymode

I wouldn't recommend it for PvP though. From what I've encountered, I can roll through nearly all shots fired at me, and this is rolling into them, not rolling to the side. But, if you get someone who isn't good at rolling, or has no shield, go for it. If it hits, it hits hard.

Oh I've not done much pvp I was speaking on pve terms and it still hits hard. Damn hard.

Maybe it's just me but I find the Lightning Bolt from the first game a lot cooler. It makes the nice lightning bolt noise and it looks awesome appearing in your hand and then your character puts a whole lot of effort into just throwing it. But when I used it in 2, it sort of just farts into existence in your hand with no build up, and it makes that dumb jingly bell noise instead of a cool lightning noise.

My only issue is that I need to get the hang of rolling. I'm playing a full on caster this time. The only things I have enough strength to hold are the daggers you get a the beginning of the game. Haven't even touched a shield. Shit is hard. You do hella damage but you get one shot by everything. I've got so much int and faith though its ridiculous. My Flame Swathe one shots most people I invade.

Yeah that's why I started as a cleric because they have some strength and dex to begin with I love hexes though
