I have to clear this up

*A clear warning to all readers, the following explanation is very long. It's best to read the whole thing before commenting. Thank you* Bungie, as a game developing studio, has no intention of favoring one console over another. Their job is to make the best games out there for people to enjoy. Therefore, Bungie has absolutely NOTHING to do with any of this Playstation exclusive content. You might be saying to yourself, "well if it wasn't Bungie who did this, then who did?" Activision made the Playstation exclusive content. Why? For marketing reasons. You see, putting a huge team at work for over six years to develop a huge game is a risky business. It costs a lot of money to do something like this as well as time. Especially since you don't know how big it's success is going to be. To prevent money loss, publishers like Activision create exclusive content to get more attention of the game so more people will know about it, and possibly buy it. Why did Activision choose Playstation? Because Bungie is reaching out to that community after a long time. Most Playstation players hate Halo because they never got to play it and are creating blind inferences. What better way to get their attention by giving them exclusive content. If it was the other way around, where Halo was a Playstation exclusive and Xbox players hated it, Activision would be giving the exclusive content to the Xbox community. See what I'm saying? It's mainly the same deal with Xbox and early COD DLC. My point here is that Bungie nor Activision nor any game developer/publisher would ever give exclusive content over favoritism. I got most of this info from MoreConsole's video about early the early beta access. Here's the link: http://youtu.be/2Aqd5k9QyFY

    •
Most Playstation players hate Halo because they never got to play it and are creating blind inferences.
I get that people have their preferred console, for me that's Playstation, but are there really that many people at this point in the consoles life that haven't owned both ps3 and the 360 at some point? I understand not owning both next gens yet, but what real gamer hasn't had the chance to play Halo if they wanted.

      • Pleas edit I to say early access and not exclusive. No content, so far, has been specifically dedicated to only PS or XB... I feel this to common mistake has made much confusion.

        • Im pretty sure the reason playstation is getting early content is because the xbox gets early content for the call of duty games activision publishes so they wanted a balance.
