At the end of the day a piece of shit with stickers on it is still a piece of shit.

Hhaha you made me laugh!

XBONE FAILED YOU BOTS GO RAGE i know you feel butthurt.
-
>Is a PC gamer Tell me again how I'm such a massive "xbot". I also love how you believe that the X1 failed even though its constantly been a top seller and been making a profit for MS.
-
Actually every time MS sells a console they lose money, same with PS4 and Wii U. And PS4 has been outselling the Xbone.
-
Ha lol
-
and Wii U.
They even loose money by not selling a Wii U.
-
That doesn't mean they aren't making a profit. Lrn2vidyaindustry
-
They aren't.

Actually, you're an idiot who knows nothing about how to research info on what he's posting. MS and Sony both have stated that they have been making profit (i.e. not selling either system at a loss) since their respective launch dates. Look shit up, moron.

Edited by Lord Commissar: 2/27/2014 5:43:29 PMI believe they're both pretty much breaking even on consoles sold. Maybe at a loss in some areas. Regardless of loss, even, or small profit status what I said is true though. The real profit is made off of software, services, and peripherals.
-
Oh, don't get me wrong. I agree completely. I was just mentioning that aside from software and peripherals (which generate huge profits), both companies have stated that they're also selling each of their consoles at a flat profit. Not being sold at any loss, all profit. I was simply proving him wrong since he wants to shoot troll-flames-of-misinformation out of his ass.

You have no idea how the industry works do you? MS and Sony make their profit on software, services, and extra peripherals. For example, I believe for the 360 and PS3 someone would have had to by 3-4 retail games before MS and Sony started making a profit off of that customer. Obviously over the lifetime of a console customers will by more than just 3-4 games, will probably indulge in the various services both companies offer, and will most likely be needing additional peripherals at some point over the next cycle. We aren't even getting into the whole DLC and micro transaction models certain games have that both companies also take a cut from.

"Top seller" wow.... this is sad were you get your information source? am also a PC gamer. hardly play console's so what's your point?!

Before we begin please pick this book up, it should help you with your atrocious grammar.
wow.... this is sad were you get your information source?
There's this little thing called the NPD if you've been paying attention for the last few months the X1 has been among the top selling items, for quick reference though you can also also check out Amazons top 100. It's not 100% accurate list that can be applied to the entirety of the retail landscape, but it can give you a good idea of what's going on.
am also a PC gamer.
lol sure you are.
