Didn't it cost 4000 points? I can see why people wouldn't want it.

Edited by Ahhsenberg: 2/27/2014 3:20:04 AM"The Call of Duty Elite service will feature payment plans via the Xbox dashboard. The paid service, which includes free DLC, eight times the file sharing storage as the free version, and daily tournaments where they can win real-world and virtual prizes, will cost $49.99 per year. Alternately, you can pay 4000 Microsoft Points ($50.00), or purchase the Hardened edition of Modern Warfare 3 which will include a free 1 year subscription to the Elite service." This was later changed after MW3. The service became free and the season pass was sold separately for Black Ops 2.

Well, I stand corrected. That sounds much more reasonable.
