Patience. Advertising is about all about timing. Right now is Titanfall's and Second Son's advertising window. It's a waste of time and resources to push new media right now that would otherwise get buried underneath the Titanfall media blitz.
By the time the beta is over, the hype train will be at full steam.

You are sold. I'm sold. Everyone here on these forums is sold. We're done. The problem is not me and my patience. The problem is that a voice on YouTube who actively supports and showcases Destiny content is having to rely on stale footage and ambiguous information to press the the success of the IP in the first part of the year. Godbless him he's trying. A Mega video to keep interest in Destiny alive and inform those who are on the fence about it. C'mon these guys need something to work with.

As a music hipster, I've seen this all before. Same shit happens on music forums, in music communities. Eventually, the core fanbase gets so ahead of the curve (and ahead of the metaphoric wave) that all they can do is sit back, twiddle their thumbs, and entertain themselves until everyone else catches up. Dude, you can only imagine how boring and frustrating it was back in the day to follow bands like Vampire Weekend or MGMT or Arcade Fire or Modest Mouse 2-3 years before anyone gave a crap. You eventually learn to accept that it is out of your control, that [i]you're[/i] the one that's ahead. It's not that everyone else (developer included) is behind.
