You awake from a dream where a Ninja Space Cowboy Wizard gave you $5,000,000. What woke you up? Why, it's a Ninja Space Cowboy Wizard. He makes you an offer. You can choose one of the following three:
Wealth - NSCW gives you Fifty Billion Dollars. You will never be left wanting in this world. You can use your money to influence those around you.
Power - NSCW makes you superhuman. You are given super strength, speed, and can fly. You aren't invincible though. While you can take on entire armies alone, a few WMDs can take you out. You can use your powers for good or evil.
Talent - NSCW gives you the ability to become an instant expert at anything you do. You can be a musical virtuoso, an engineering genius, a sex god, or all of the above and then some. You'll be able to inspire those around you.
Of course some of these overlap. With wealth, you can dedicate your time to becoming talented or you can build your own iron man suit. With power, you can become wealthy, same with talent, but none are as good as the genuine article.
So which do you choose: wealth, power, or talent and why? What would you do?

Edited by Turtlenomad: 2/11/2014 5:34:37 AMI shan't accept such offerings.
-
Talent, then just decide I want to be really good at convincing Ninja Space Cowboy Wizards to give me all three things.

Edited by diggnURgrave: 2/11/2014 5:28:15 AMTalent, then I wouldn't have to practice guitar ever again to get better or warm up, I'd just be the best. + $$ and babes

Talent -> talented at being talented at many things -> talented at being a superhero -> uses superpowers to amass riches by doing good and getting paid.

Edited by Uberdawg: 2/8/2014 8:08:44 PMI would choose in this order: 1. Power. Power grants instant immortality (not in the literal sense), the deepest of all human desires. Even talent and money cannot grant it in the way to become the first and last superhuman would. In one week you could join the most famous humans of all time. And money could come easily, although not as easily as the other two. Plus you'd be hella popular with women, long as you didn't accidentally annihilate them during coitus. 2. Talent. This is extremely close to power for me but I think it needs more fleshing out. Can you instantly become highly talented at anything... or the best? How would one acquire talent? If you wanted to become the greatest physicist, would you still have to read a ton of books? If not the best, how long would it take to get there? As profitable as it would be to be very good at speaking a dozen languages, a fantastic salesman, and a tremendous martial artist, it does not exactly rival being something the world has never seen before. Talent could be the best, or not, depending on the specifics. 3. Money. The problem with money is that it kills drive, and money unearned doesn't feel as good as money earned, which the other two give the capability to do even if you're "cheating."
-
Talent. I don't have a desire for power. I would like the money, but I feel that if I got it I would lose all drive and become lazy and depressed. So I'd like Talent.
-
Money.
-
Money buys everything. You would be cast out of society for having that kind of power, and talent requires too much upkeep.
-
Edited by lazy bazooka: 2/8/2014 5:34:08 PMPower. It's a talent, and people will give me money to perform for them.
-
Money. I already know what I'm going to do with it...
-
Power. I'd find a way to make money with my superpowers.
-
Talent
-
Power To prove that there is still good in this world
-
I think I would pick talent. With talent, i could certainly acheive wealth, and maybe even power depending on what area i was talented in.
-
Talent. Then I can have wealth and help others. Sounds like a good deal to me.
-
Power. With that i can achieve wealth, either by lawful or unlawful means. You can become talented at anything with enough determination. Plus, flying is awesome.
-
Money so i could buy surgery that gives me both of those other things.
-
Talent. I'd love to be good at everything although I would try not to brag about it because then I would piss people off and make no friends.
-
Power. I will right all da wrongs of da wurld.
-
Power, It would feel like cheating to go for talent and the wealth one can cause some severe inflation issues. If you are superhuman, and not the sort of eejit to wear their pants outside of their trousers, then you could easily fix a lot of the problems with the world today. For starters you could grab each greedy, corrupt, shitty politician and fly them into the upper atmosphere to watch their head inflate and explode >:D
-
Talent. Then hard work will get me places.
-
Power. With it I can unite the world under one banner and would thus have no need for wealth to survive or talents to impress others. Maybe they'd even make a cult about me. The Emperor of Mankind, beloved by all.

Edited by Ockeghem: 2/8/2014 3:59:04 AMSelfish answer I wish I could take: Talent. Instrumentalist...either piano or wind doubler. Star Wars answer: UNLIMITED POWAAAAAAA Real answer: 50 billion $$. With that kind of dough, I could literally fix a chunk of the shit that is wrong in the world.
-
Does the power option convey potential immortality? Like, could I die of old age? If not I'd pick that because, given infinite time, talent can be replaced by hard work, and if I was that powerful I really wouldn't have a use for money.
-
Same as Spider. Amazing talent will get you money and power at some point. Maybe not the power to take out whole armies by yourself, but armies by your immaculate words.
