What do you plan to do with life?

I'm 17 in a fews months I will be 18 and I want to join the US Navy. Then when I get out I would like to become a EMT-1 then a paramedic. What do you plan to do with your life?

  • BEGINNING TRANSMISSION: (Low melodious hum.) Life flows through me; pours out of my palms. What I will do with the life I call my own is something I would have answered when I had one. Now I watch others in silence, patience... in peace. ENDING TRANSMISSION:

    • I am going to continue living comfortably, work when I need some money, but for the most part I'm going to eat generously without nutritional attention, very rarely go out of the house, love my women, and play video games for the remainder. Will probably die between 45-50 but I call that a good innings, oh and not waste time/cash on children and possibly get married, possibly get myself a Ferrari one day.

Finish my gap year, go to med school, become a doctor, get a house out in the country when i'm old and retire there. Oh, and having a laugh all the way.

            • If 3 years ago you told me what I was considering and being set up to work on today, I probably would have killed myself as a favor to the world. Fortunately, that idealistic prick died without taking the body with him.

            • I don't know. Not knowing what I am going to do I think has become the source of my problems.

                • Wow finally a good thread thanks op. (no sarcasm) I have such a strong drive that's only been growing in recent months. I'm 17 and I have ambitions to be a bodybuilder, but I don't want to do that for a living. I have a great head start seeing as I'm already bigger and stronger than a large majority of guys my age(standing at 6'2" 195lbs) and I can only see myself becoming greater from here. But I want to make millions by doing business. Maybe start a chain of some sort I have no idea. I'm gonna go to the JC in my town and live with my parents for two years while I work 2 jobs spending as little as possible so I have a pretty good amount saved up before I transfer. Right now I like to buy cars and fix them up with my dad and then sell them for $$profit$$(do the same thing on a smaller scale with cell phones). I don't know where my life will take my but I know I'm gonna be successful.
