They are confirmed, their abillities were revealed in the Game Informer Article, though I imagine that as usual, everything is subject to change.

You can pick up a copy of the article yourself from a local Gamestop if you want the full scoop (there's a ton more aside from exotics), but let's see... Red Death: 1) Offers several unelaborated "perks" that will trigger more frequently during competitive multiplayer. 2) After some upgrading it allows you to regenerate health at an increased rate. Closing Time: 1) Camouflages your entire body whenever you are zoomed in. 2) Shooting Ammo Crates allows you to collect the ammo into your inventory remotely. Gjallarhorn: 1) Deploys secondary sentries at the site of impact. 2) The sentries are implied to be anti-infantry, though this is unconfirmed.
