It's like you discovered plot-holes/contrivances for the first time or something.

  • No, there were many plot holes I noticed in the movie my first time watching it. But most of those 'problems' were fixed by reading the novelization. But this specific plot hole, hasn't been addressed.

  • So then it's a mistake in a movie, not all of these have explanations, go watch the Dark Knight Rising for examples.

  • It's like you think I'm discovering plot holes for the first time, or something... I thoroughly enjoyed The Dark Knight Rises. But I find Man of Steel to be my favourite comic book movie ever because it actually makes sense... It's fairly realistic. I was hoping people would be more useful than this...

  • Probably cause you are, you've watched the movie over a dozen times, and you're whining about this like it's a significant issue somehow. It's not realistic in the slightest, we can't even see outside our own galaxy, how could we have recorded film of people waging battles and entire planets exploding in places millions of light-years away, that when looking at one of the people in question, they look like Russel Crowe? Clearly you've gone incoherent.

I said it was realistic, not that it takes place in reality. There is actual science behind Superman's powers. It's quite plausible, in fact. Edit: I'm not sure why you are being a condescending ass to me, all of a sudden. I'm not even whining... I'm bringing up a plot ho- 'contrivance' in the movie that has been bothering me. If you don't like it, to be blunt, fûck off.

Realistic; 1st definition: having or showing a sensible and practical idea of what can be achieved or expected. 2nd definition: representing familiar things in a way that is accurate or true to life So you've been in outer space and seen Aliens? Me:
It's like you discovered plot-holes/contrivances for the first time or something.
You:
It's like you think I'm discovering plot holes for the first time, or something...

I'm not sure why you are being a condescending ass to me, all of a sudden. Nope. Definitely not. But it is plausible. You make it seem like the filmmakers were making a documentary, or something. It's a science fiction movie. Keyword: science. Edit: Even though I explicitly said in my prior reply to you that I knew what plot holes were. That's why I included the "it's like you think I'm discovering plot holes for the first time" part. I'm pretty sure I wasn't directly attempting to degrade my argument with words like 'discover' and 'whining'.

  • Haha, alright. So, you've been reduced to this already? You know I'm 16 (I'm not sure why this should affect our relationship AT ALL), you think you have some sort of superiority over me... because you were born first. Makes total sense.
Yes. I'm surrounded by mentally inferior people. I spend most of my time alone in solitude, simply contemplating my past and future.
If you posses above average intelligence, you are surrounded by inferior thinkers. That is objectively true.
I haven't found a woman with the desired credentials. It's not like you actually know if I have those traits, and if I do possess them, then I'm right. Why do you have such a problem with who I am? I feel sorry for you.
