When the Xbox 360 and PS3 were announced I was ecstatic. I picked up my 360 as soon as the second shipment hit store shelves, and I was the happiest kid on the planet. The leap from the original Xbox and the PS2 to the seventh gen consoles was massive.
But now I'm kinda "meh" to the eighth generation. I dunno if it's because of the cynicism I've developed towards the video game industry or the fact that I already have a machine that has games which look and perform better than any of the launch titles.
I dunno, I'm just not feeling the "magic" this generation. Can anyone else relate?

Now the X1, and the ps4 are just upgrades with better graphics and some minor new features. It doesn't seem as "magical" or "revolutionary" because there are no gigantic new items and such.
